Milder with showers today and on Tuesday! Dry weather Wednesday through the weekend!


Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and there are some light showers or sprinkles falling in parts of the area, temperatures are quite a bit milder than over the weekend with low 40s here in Clifton ranging down to the upper 30s inland, winds are light.

Today will be cloudy with occasional light showers, temperatures will be milder with highs in the upper 50s, winds will become gusty this afternoon out of the south.

Showers will persist into Tuesday morning as a cold front approaches and passes through in the afternoon, highs will be similar as today’s.

It now appears that we will enjoy a rather nice stretch of dry weather Wednesday through the weekend as high pressure builds into the area from the north, temperatures will be slightly below normal on Wednesday gradually warming up to above normal levels over the weekend.

TODAY – Cloudy with occasional showers, high in the upper 50s.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with showers mainly after midnight, low in the upper 40s.

TUESDAY – Cloudy with showers mainly in the morning, high in the upper 50s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 50s.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high near 60.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 60s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny, high in the low 60s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high near 70.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory is in effect till 6 p.m. on Tuesday.  Today – South-southwest wind to 30 knots, seas 5-8 feet.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisories likely to continue Wednesday through Friday for onshore northeast winds.
