Cool weather through early next week with rain likely later this afternoon and evening and again Saturday night into Monday!


Skies are cloudy early on this Friday morning and there are some light sprinkles in parts of the area, tempertures range from the upper 40s here in Clifton to the low 40s further inland, winds are light.

Today will be a cloudy and cool day with some light rain likely developing later this afternoon and continuing into this evening.

Saturday will be the best day of the weekend with dry conditions but another low pressure system will cause rain to develop after midnight.

Periods of rain and cool weather will continue Sunday into Monday.

Some sunshine Tuesday and Wednesday with milder temperatures but another disturbance may give us more showers on Thursday.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Cloudy with light rain likely later this afternoon, high in the upper 50s.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with rain likely mainly this evening, low in the low 40s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny, high in the low 60s, rain likely after midnight.

SUNDAY – Cloudy with rain likely, high in the mid 50s.

MONDAY – Cloudy with a good chance of rain, high in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

WEDNESDAY – Partly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

THURSDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the upper 60s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Small craft advisory is in effect till 2 a.m. on Saturday, winds east with gusts to 25 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Saturday into the day on Sunday with advisories possible Sunday night into Monday, no advisories expected Monday night into Tuesday.
