Dry and warm today with increasing humidity! Showers likely tomorrow into Wednesday!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Monday morning and temperatures range from the low 60s here in Clifton to the low 50s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Today we will see mostly sunny skies this morning followed by increasing cloudiness this afternoon, it will become more humid with dewpoints rising to the upper 60s.  Tonight will be mostly cloudy.   High pressure will be moving offshore.

A cold front will slowly move into the area on Tuesday causing considerable cloudiness with a chance of showers and thunderstorms developing in the afternoon and becoming more likely Tuesday evening, temperatures with the cloudiness will be a little lower than today’s.

The cold front will slowly move offshore on Wednesday but may still cause some shower activity.

High pressure will be in control of the weather Thursday and during the day Friday giving us warm temperatures and less humid air.

Another front may give us showers Friday night.

At this time it appears the holiday weekend will be mainly dry with near normal temperatures with highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s.

TODAY – Increasing cloudiness and becoming more humid, high in the mid 80s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy and muggy, low in the upper 60s.

TUESDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of shower and thunderstorms mainly after 3 p.m., high in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s, chance of showers at night.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Southerly winds to 14 knots seas 2 feet.  Water temperatures are in the upper 60s.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected through Friday.
