Well needed showers this afternoon and evening! Mainly dry Wednesday and Thursday! Chance of showers Friday followed by a warm and dry holiday weekend!


Skies are cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are mainly in the upper 60s, the humidity is high and the winds are nearly calm.  Some showers are across parts of Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.

Today will be mainly cloudy and humid as a cold front approaches the area, showers and thunderstorms are likely to develop this afternoon and continue until around midnight tonight, temperatures will be not as warm due to the clouds and showers.

High pressure will build into the area on Wednesday and continue to dominate our weather on Thursday, temperatures will be warm but it will be less humid. There is a low chance of a shower Wednesday afternoon and evening but otherwise it will be dry.

Another cold front may touch off some showers mainly Friday evening.

At this time the holiday weekend weather looks ideal with plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures and comfortable humidity.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely, some storms again may be accompanied by gusty winds and small hail, low in the mid 60s.

WEDNESDAY – Partly sunny with a low chance of an afternoon and evening shower and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – Sunny, high in the upper 80s.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of an afternoon and evening shower and thunderstorm, high in the mid 80s.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

INDEPENDANCE DAY – Sunny, high in the upper 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Southerly winds to 13 knots, seas 2-3 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Wednesday through Saturday.
