Another warm and dry day today! Becoming more humid with showers possible tonight into Thursday! Hot on Friday!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from the upper 60s here in Clifton to the low 60s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Today we will have partly sunny skies, temperatures will be near seasonable and the humidity will increase by the afternoon as high pressure moves off the coast.

A low pressure trough in our area will give us a chance of showers and thunderstorms from late tonight through Thursday night, it will be quite warm and humid.

Mostly sunny skies will return on Friday but it will be quite hot with highs in the 90s however the humidity will be dropping throughout the day.

The biggest change in the forecast for the weekend is to remove the chance of showers, now it appears the weekend will be dry with warm temperatures and comfortable humidity.

Another front will give us a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Monday.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, humid with lows in the low 70s.

THURSDAY – Mostly cloudy and quite warm and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high near 90.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny and hot but will lower humidity, high in the mid 90s.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

MONDAY – Mostly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon, high near 90.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Southerly winds to 12 knots, seas 2 feet. Water temperatures are in the low 70s.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Thursday through Sunday.
