Another nice summer day today! Heat starts to bid on Thursday! Very hot Friday through early next week!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and it is quite comfortable with temperatures ranging from the upper 60s here in Clifton to the upper 50s further inland, the humidity is low with dew points in the comfortable low 50s, winds are light.

High pressure over the area will give us another nice and comfortable summer day with near normal temperatures and comfortable humidity.

Plenty of sunshine again on Thursday and temperatures will rise to near 90 but only with a slight rise in humidity levels.

Sizzling heat then builds on Friday and last through early next week with highs each day well up into the 90s, humidity will also become oppressive especially Sunday and Monday.  At this time the only chance of shower activity is on Friday night and again Sunday night into Monday.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the mid 60s.

THURSDAY – Sunny and hot, high near 90.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny and hot high in the mid 90s, chance of showers and thunderstorms at night.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny and hot, high in the mid 90s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny hot and humid, high in the mid 90s, chance of showers and thunderstorms at night.

MONDAY – Partly sunny, hot and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 90s.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny and hot, high in the low 90s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Northeast wind to 10 knots, seas 2 feet.  Water temperatures have rising to the upper 70s.

OUTLOOK – Possible small craft advisories Friday night into early Saturday otherwise no advisories expected Thursday through Sunday.
