Hot and dry with lower humidity today through Thursday!


It is mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures range from the low 70s here in Clifton to the mid 60s further inland, winds are light.

Today will be hot again but with mostly sunny skies and lower humidity than on Monday, still the temperatures will reach the mid 90s.

Dry weather will continue for Wednesday and most of Thursday and temperatures will once again reach the 90s, there will be a slight increase in humidity by Thursday afternoon.

A front in our area will give us a good chance of showers and thunderstorms on Friday, some heavy rain is possible, temperatures will be closer to normal only reaching the 80s.

This front will be in the area over the weekend with a chance of showers and thunderstorms each day and it will be moderately humid.

Drier weather is expected early next week.

Very hot and humid today with thunderstorms likely this afternoon and evening! Still hot tomorrow and Wednesday but less humid!


Skies are generally cloudy early on this Monday morning and it is very warm with temperatures ranging from around 80 here in Clifton to the low 70s further inland, there are some scattered showers around.

A warm front moving through the area this morning will cause clouds and a possibility of some showers but we should see some sunshine and temperatures will rise to at least the mid 90s once again however the humidity will be higher than over the weekend with dew points rising to the 70s causing it to feel close to 105 today, a heat advisory is in effect.  A cold front approaching from the west will likely cause some thunderstorms later this afternoon and this evening, some of these storms may be strong with gusty winds and heavy rain.

It will still be hot but less humid with plenty of sunshine both tomorrow and on Wednesday.

A weak front will be in our area on Thursday and last through the weekend which can cause some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms each afternoon, temperatures will not be as hot with highs mainly in the low 90s on Thursday and the 80s Friday through the weekend but the humidity will be higher with dew points mostly in the upper 60s.

Hot again today but with less humidity! Very hot on Monday with high humidity and a chance of thunderstorms!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from the low 70s here in Clifton to around 60 further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Today will have plenty of sunshine and temperatures a couple of degrees cooler than yesterday but still reach the mid 90s, but with dew points in the upper 50s it will not be too oppressive.

Monday may very well be the hottest and most uncomfortable day of the current heat wave as a southwest flow of more humid air moves into the area, with temperatures in the upper 90s and dew points rising to the low 70s will push heat indexes to near 110 degrees, an excessive heat watch is in effect.  Also there will be a chance of thunderstorm activity during the afternoon and at night as a cold front approaches the area, some storms may be quite strong.

Less humid and dry Tuesday and Wednesday but still with temperatures reaching the 90s.

A little less hot but with more humidity Thursday into next weekend with a chance of thunderstorms especially Thursday afternoon into Friday.

Very hot today with 100 degree temperatures possible! Very little relief from our hot and dry pattern through next week!


Skies are mainly clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are quite warm again with readings ranging from the upper 70s here in Clifton to the upper 60s further inland, winds are light.

High pressure over the area will give us mostly sunny skies and dry conditions, temperatures will reach at least the upper 90s however the humidity will be lower than yesterday and it should be a little breezy making the heat a little more tolerable.

More sunshine on Sunday and it will be a little less hot and the humidity again will not be that oppressive.

Monday may be the most uncomfortable day of the current heatwave with temperatures again reaching near 100 degrees and along with dew points reaching the low 70s will cause the heat index to rise to around 105.  There is a low chance of some afternoon and evening thunderstorm activity as a weak cold front approaches the area.

The rest of the week should remain mainly dry and hot with the only chance of rain will be around Friday, humidity levels should be moderate with dew points in the 60s.

Heatwave to continue into next week! Thunderstorms possible this afternoon and evening!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and temperatures are warmer than this time yesterday ranging from the low 70s here in Clifton to the mid 60s further inland, winds are light.

Today will be very hot and humid with highs reaching the mid 90s and with dew points around 70 with the heat index reaching near 100, a heat advisory is in effect. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening some of which may be quite strong with gusty winds and heavy rain.

Tomorrow will be very hot again but with slightly lower humidity levels by this afternoon, skies will be mostly sunny.

Temperatures on Sunday should be a little lower and with more comfortable humidity with again mostly sunny skies.

A cold front will be approaching from the west on Monday, ahead of this front it will be very hot and humid again with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Mostly sunny days and still hot Tuesday through Thursday with moderate humidity.
