Nice summer weather today and Tuesday! Becoming hot and humid Thursday and Friday with some showers!


Skies are mostly fair early on this Monday morning and temperatures range from the low 60s in Clifton to the mid 50s further inland, the winds are light and the humidity is low.

We should see plenty of sunshine both today and on Tuesday along with low humidity and comfortably warm temperatures as high pressure builds into the area.

The high pressure will move offshore on Wednesday with a southwest flow of warmer and gradually more humid air.

Thursday and Friday will be hot and humid with Friday being the hottest day with highs well up into the 90s, the best chance of showers and thunderstorms will be on Thursday.

At this time the weekend looks to be quite warm and a little less humid with a low chance of showers  Saturday afternoon..

Pleasantly warm with lower humidity today through Tuesday! Warmer with increasing humidity the second half of this week!


Skies have become mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from the mid 60s here in Clifton to around 60 further inland, winds are light.  Overnight rain produced around 1/2 inch of precipitation.

A front is moving offshore and  high pressure is building in from the west, we should see plenty of sunshine today with seasonably warm temperatures, humidity will drop this afternoon and there will be a nice pleasant breeze.

Pleasantly warm with comfortable humidity weather will continue Monday and Tuesday with plenty of sunshine both days as high pressure dominates our weather.

The high will move offshore on Wednesday and a southwest flow of warmer and more humid moves into the area and be with us through Friday, we will be mainly dry but a weak front may cause some shower activity Thursday afternoon into Friday.

This front will be followed by less humid air for next weekend but it will continue to be quite warm.

Cooler but still humid today with showers likely! Comfortably warm and dry on Sunday! Mainly dry week coming up and becoming hot again by Wednesday!


Skies are cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there is some drizzle falling, temperatures are cooler than the last couple of mornings mostly in the mid to upper 60s but it is still humid, winds are light.

A backdoor cold front came through the area yesterday afternoon bringing in cooler but damp air.  This marine air will be with us today causing a mostly cloudy and humid day with highs only in the 70s along with some drizzle or light rain.  Also a stronger cold front will cause some showers this afternoon and evening, some thunderstorms may be quite strong across western parts of New Jersey and the Poconos.

Drier and less humid on Sunday and with some sunshine temperatures will be seasonably warm.

Comfortably warm with low humidity and plenty of sunshine Monday and Tuesday.

Becoming hot with increasingly humid Wednesday through the end of the week, we will be mainly dry with the only chance of showers will be with an approaching front Thursday night.

More heat and humidity today with showers likely developing! Not as hot on Saturday with showers!


It is another warm and muggy morning as temperatures range from the mid 70s here in Clifton to the mid 60s further inland, skies are partly cloudy and the winds are light.

Today we will see mostly sunny skies this morning but then clouds will increase with a chance of showers and thunderstorms developing this afternoon and becoming more likely this evening, some of these storms may have heavy rain and gusty winds along with a chance of small hail, temperatures will once again be hot along with high humidity.

A backdoor cold front will move from east to west through the area tonight, behind the front we will see cooler temperatures but the humidity will stay high and showers and thunderstorms again will be likely mainly in the afternoon and evening.

A stronger front will cross the area on Sunday bringing in less humid air, there is a low chance of some showers and thunderstorms mainly around midday.

Mainly dry weather Monday through the rest of the week, comfortable temperature and humidity Monday and Tuesday but a return to hot and humid conditions Wednesday through the rest of next week.

Hot and humid today into Saturday with some heavy rain this afternoon and again Friday night into Saturday!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Thursday morning and it is quite warm with temperatures ranging from the mid 70s here in Clifton to the mid 60s in the cooler valleys, winds are mainly calm and the humidity continues to be high.

Today will start off clear and temperatures will rise again into the low 90s but a trough of low pressure will cause some heavy rain in thunderstorms this afternoon and early this evening, a flash flood watch is in effect for our area.   Some of these storms may also be accompanied by gust winds, small hail and frequent cloud to ground lightning.

Hot and humid again on Friday, most of the day will be dry but front will cause likely cause more showers and thunderstorms Friday night into Saturday.

A cold front will cross the area Saturday afternoon or evening followed by cooler and much drier air Sunday with dry and comfortable weather lasting through the middle of next week.
