Quite warm and humid today with some thunderstorms likely! Still warm but much less humid tomorrow through Tuesday!


Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy across the area early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are warmer than the last couple of mornings ranging from near 70 in Clifton to the mid 60s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Today will have mostly cloudy skies it will become quite warm and more humid and as a cold front approaches we should likely see some afternoon thunderstorm activity, some storms may be strong with gusty winds and heavy rain.   The threat of rain will diminish this evening as the cold front moves offshore and it will become less humid.

Fine summer weather tomorrow through Tuesday with plenty of sunshine each day, seasonably warm temperatures and comfortable humidity as high pressure will be in control.

Warmer and more humid Wednesday through the end of the week with the best chance of showers on Wednesday and then again on Friday as a front will be stationary near our area.

TODAY – Mostly cloudy, quite warm and humid with showers and thunderstorms likely this afternoon, some storms may be accompanied by heavy rain and gusty winds, high near 90.

TONIGHT – Becoming mostly clear and less humid, low in the upper 60s.

SUNDAY – Sunny, high in the upper 80s.

MONDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

TUESDAY – Sunny, high in the upper 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, more humid, high in the upper 80s.

THURSDAY – Partly sunny, hot and humid, high in the low 90s.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – West-southwest wind to 10 knots, seas 2-3 feet.  Water temperatures are in the mid 70s.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Sunday through Wednesday.
