One more hot and very humid day today with a good chance of thunderstorms! Warm but less humid the rest of the work week!


Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and it is rather warm and muggy, temperatures range from the mid 70s here in Clifton to the upper 60s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

A warm front is crossing the area this morning and will be followed by a cold front tonight, today we should have mostly cloudy skies with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms, some storms may be severe with strong gusty winds and heavy rain, the best chance of these storms occurring will be early this afternoon and again toward evening, temperatures will again be hot and with dew points in the 70s will cause heat indexes to rise above 100 degrees, a heat advisory is in effect.

High pressure will build into the region and be with us tomorrow through Friday giving the area plenty of sunshine each day, high temperatures will be near 90 but the humidity will be much more bearable than we have experienced the last few days.

Saturday should still be dry but with increasing humidity.  A frontal system may give us some shower and thunderstorm activity Sunday and Monday.

A little less hot and humid today! More humid on Tuesday with showers and thunderstorms likely!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Monday morning and temperatures range from the mid 70s here in Clifton to around 70 further inland, it is still muggy with dew points around 70.

Today we should see plenty of sunshine, temperatures and humidity levels will not be as high as the past weekend but temperatures will still rise into the low 90s.

A warm front moving to our north on Tuesday will again cause an increase in humidity along with showers and thunderstorms, some of these storms may be accompanied by heavy rain and strong gusty winds.

A cold front will cross the area on Wednesday that may cause a shower mainly in the morning, the front will be followed by less humid air.

Mainly dry and seasonably warm weather with lower humidity Thursday through the weekend.

Another day of excessive heat and humidity today! A little less hot and humid to start the work week!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are very warm again ranging from the upper 70s here in Clifton to around 70 further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Today we will have another day of excessive heat and humidity although dew points may be a little lower than on Saturday, there is a risk of an afternoon and evening thunderstorm but the storms will not be widespread and most areas will remain dry.

A weak cold front will cross the area tonight followed by less hot and humid air on Monday with only a slight chance of a shower.

A warm front will cross the area late on Tuesday and be in our area on Wednesday, look for a better chance of showers and thunderstorms, it will be quite warm and humid but not as oppressive as this weekend.

Still a chance of a mainly afternoon and evening thunderstorm on Thursday followed by dry weather Friday into next weekend with seasonably warm temperatures.

Oppressive heat and humidity to continue this weekend!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and it is another very warm and muggy start to the day with temperatures ranging from the upper 70s here in Clifton to the low 70s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

The high heat and oppressive humidity will continue this weekend, temperatures both days will reach the mid-upper 90s and with dew points in the mid-upper 70s will cause heat indexes to rise to above 110 in many areas, an excessive heat warning is in effect.   Shower and thunderstorm activity will be a little less widespread today but become more numerous on Sunday as a cold front approaches the area.

A little less hot and humid this upcoming week but temperatures will still be near 90 each day with dew points dropping to the upper 60s to around 70 which is still rather sticky.  There will be a chance of showers each day with the best chance of rain Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Excessive heat and humidity to continue through the weekend along with scattered showers and thunderstorms!


Skies are cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures are actually a little cooler than this time yesterday but the humidity remains high, there is some showers that will pass through the area early this morning.

The Bermuda high pressure that has been giving us the high heat and humidity will continue to control our weather through the weekend, high temperatures each day will be in the mid 90s and with dew points in the mid 70s will cause heat indexes to rise to 105-110 degrees, an excessive heat warning is in effect.   We should see a mix of sun and clouds and there is a chance or showers and thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon and evening hours, any storm may be accompanied by very heavy rain that may cause some localized flash flooding.

A front will approach the area Sunday night and be over or slight to our south through next week continuing the chance of showers and thunderstorms, temperatures and humidity levels will be lower than this weekend but still be on the uncomfortable side.
