Pleasantly warm and dry today and on Tuesday as Hermine stays offshore! Hot late summer weather later this week!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Labor Day morning and temperatures range from the low 60s here in Clifton to the low 50s further inland, there is a light northerly wind and the humidity remains low.

Today we should see a mix of clouds and sun as Post-Tropical Storm Hermine moves slightly westward toward our coast, skies should be mostly sunny inland but mostly cloudy along coastal areas, temperatures should reach the low 80s with comfortable humidity.

Hermine will be just off the coast on Tuesday giving us some clouds especially over coastal areas, winds will be a little breezy, temperatures will be a little warmer and it will also become more humid.

Quite warm to hot weather is expected Wednesday through the weekend , it will be mainly dry but a weak cold front moving through the area on Saturday may touch off a shower.

TODAY – Partly sunny, high in the low 80s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny and breezy, high in the mid 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny and more humid, high in the upper 80s.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny hot and humid, high in the low 90s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny hot and humid, high in the low 90s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny, high near 90.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – North wind to 18 knots, seas 4-5 feet.  Tropical storm warning offshore. Dangerous rip currents expected, water temperatures are in the upper 70s.

OUTLOOK – Advisories still expected Tuesday and Wednesday, no advisories for Thursday and Friday.
