Temperatures early on this Easter Sunday are quite mild ranging from the low 60s in the Clifton area to the low 50s further inland, skies are partly cloudy and the winds are light out of the southwest.

Very warm today as temperatures reach well up into the 80s with mostly sunny skies, it will be also very windy with some wind gusts over 35 mph.  Today should be the warmest Easter since 1976 when the temperature rose to an amazing 96 degrees.  A cold front will cross the area tonight with only a slight chance of a shower.

High pressure will build into the area on Monday giving us cooler temperatures but it still will be above normal.  Dry on Tuesday but even cooler as winds become more onshore.

A series of low pressures will move into the area Wednesday through Friday giving us a chance of showers each day, temperatures will be slightly below normal on Wednesday, above normal on Thursday and near normal on Friday.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm, low in the upper 50s.

MONDAY – APR 17 – Mostly sunny, high near 70.

TUESDAY – APR 18 – Mostly sunny and cooler, high in the upper 50s.

WEDNESDAY – APR 19 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the upper 50s.

THURSDAY – APR 20 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the upper 60s.

FRIDAY – APR 21 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the mid 60s.

SATURDAY – APR 22 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Small craft advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. this morning till 6 a.m Monday morning for southwest winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 4-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Monday and Tuesday, possible small craft conditions on Wednesday, no advisories expected on Thursday.
