MONDAY JUNE 5, 2017 5:54 A.M.
Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning with some showers occurring mainly to our east. Temperatures are not as chilly as the last few mornings ranging from the upper 50s in the Clifton area to the mid 50s further inland, winds are mainly calm.
A warm front across southern New Jersey along with a low pressure to our west will cause cloudy skies all day; there may be a lull in the shower activity this morning but showers and thunderstorms may redevelop this afternoon and evening. Temperatures should rise into the 70s today.
Cool, cloudy and unsettled weather Tuesday through Thursday with a chance of rain or drizzle each day.
We finally clear out on Friday into the weekend giving our area warmer temperatures. There will be a low chance of a shower on Saturday but most of the area will remain dry.
