Mostly sunny and warmer today and on Saturday! Heat wave Sunday through Tuesday!


FRIDAY  JUNE 9, 2017  5:28 A.M.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures are cool ranging from the low 50s in the Clifton area to the low 40s in some of the inland areas, winds are light westerly.

Finally after having weeks of mainly cloudy, cool and dreary conditions we will get into a summertime pattern starting today.  We should have mostly sunny skies and temperatures reaching the low 80s which is near normal and about 10 degrees higher than yesterday.

More sunshine on Saturday with high temperatures a few degrees higher than today.

A summer like heat wave Sunday through Tuesday with temperatures reaching the 90s each day along with increasing humidity levels.

A backdoor cold front will cross the area Tuesday night with only a slight chance of a shower.

Cooler and dry Wednesday and Thursday.

TODAY – JUN 9 – Mostly sunny,  high in the low 80s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low in the low 60s.

SATURDAY – JUN 10 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

SUNDAY – JUN 11 – Sunny and hot, high in the low 90s.

MONDAY – JUN 12 – Mostly sunny and hot, high in the mid 90s.

TUESDAY – JUN 13 – Mostly sunny, hot and humid, high in the low 90s.

WEDNESDAY – JUN 14 – Partly sunny and not as warm, high in the low 80s.

THURSDAY – JUN 15 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 70s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Small craft advisory in effect till 6 p.m for hazardous seas; winds south-southwest to 8 knots, seas up to 5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Saturday through the day on Sunday; possible advisories Sunday night; no advisories expected Monday and Tuesday.
