Partly sunny and quite warm today! Heatwave Sunday through Tuesday!


SATURDAY  JUNE  10, 2017  5:30 A.M.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are milder than the last few mornings ranging from near 60 in the Clifton area to the low 50s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

An area of showers now over central  Pennsylvania will move east and dissipate before reaching the Clifton area but parts of northwest sections of New Jersey may see some rain before 10 a.m., in the Clifton area we may see brief mostly cloudy skies this morning then become mostly sunny and warm this afternoon.

The start of a three day heatwave will start tomorrow and last through Tuesday with high temperatures each day in the 90s along with an increase in humidity.

A cold front may touch off some showers Tuesday afternoon and evening followed by cooler air from Wednesday and last through Friday.  A few showers are possible Thursday night into the day on Friday.

TODAY – JUN 10 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low near 70.

SUNDAY – JUNE 11 – Sunny and hot, high in the low 90s.

MONDAY – JUN 12 – Sunny, hot and humid, high in the mid 90s.

TUESDAY – JUN 13 – Sunny in the morning then partly sunny in the afternoon, humid with highs in the low 90s.

WEDNESDAY – JUN 14 – Partly sunny and cooler, high near 80.

THURSDAY – JUN 15  Partly sunny, high in the mid 70s, chance of showers at night.

FRIDAY – JUN 16 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the upper 70s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – South-southwest wind to 12 knots, seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Sunday through Wednesday.
