One more day of heat then cooler the rest of the week!


TUESDAY  JUNE 13, 2017  5:47 A.M.

Skies are clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are extremely warm for this time of day ranging from the mid 70s in the Clifton area down to the low 60s in some spots further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Today will be hot again with near record high temperatures as we should soar into the mid 90s along with higher humidity.  A cold front will cross the area tonight possibly accompanied by some shower and thunderstorm activity.

Tomorrow will be cooler and much less humid but temperatures will still be slightly above normal.

Cooler than normal temperatures Thursday and Friday, Thursday should remain dry but showers are possible on Friday as a warm front approaches the area.

The warm front will pass north of the area on Saturday with warm and humid conditions developing along with a chance of showers for both days of the upcoming weekend.

Warm and humid weather should continue into early next week with still a chance of showers.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight, low around 70.

WEDNESDAY – JUN 14 – Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming sunny, cool and less humid, high in the low 80s.

THURSDAY – JUN 15 – Sunny and cool, high in the low 70s.

FRIDAY – JUN 16  – Cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the low 70s.

SATURDAY – JUN 17 – Cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high near 80.

SUNDAY – JUN 18 – Mostly cloudy and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.

MONDAY – JUN 19 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, humid, high in the mid 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – West-southwest wind to 8 knots, seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Wednesday into the day on Thursday; possible small craft conditions Thursday night into early Friday; no advisories expected Friday afternooon through Saturday.
