FRIDAY  JUNE 16, 2017  5:48 A.M.

Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Friday morning. Temperatures range from the low 60s in the Clifton area to the low 50s further inland, winds are light easterly.

Today will be a cloudy and cool day as high pressure moves off the New England coast and a warm front approaches from the west. There will be some light showers or drizzle falling in  parts of the area.

The warm front will move to our north on Saturday and a southwest flow of warmer and more humid air will be with us for the weekend. There are chances of showers and thunderstorms but most of the time it will be dry.

Monday looks to be a quite active day with possibly strong to severe thunderstorms and very heavy downpours as a cold front approaches from the west.

Some showers still possible on Tuesday, temperatures will be warm but with less humidity.   More showers and thunderstorms again  possible on Wednesday as another front moves into our area.
