Mainly cloudy and humid today with a chance of showers! Quite warm and humid on Sunday! Severe thunderstorms with heavy rain likely on Monday!

Skies are cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there is some drizzle and fog in parts of the area, temperatures are mainly in the low to mid 60s, the humidity is high and the winds are mainly calm.

Today we will have mainly cloudy skies and there is a chance of shower and thunderstorms, it will be warmer than on Friday and it will be humid.

We may see some more sunshine on Sunday causing warmer temperatures, there still will be a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorm, it will remain quite humid.

Monday still looks to be quite active as a cold front slowly approaches the area causing heavy rain and possibly severe thunderstorms.

Less humid on Tuesday with a chance of morning showers.  Another front may cause some afternoon showers on Wednesday.  High pressure will give us a nice day on Thursday.  A chance of showers again on Friday as another front  approaches the area.   Temperatures Tuesday through Friday will be slightly above normal.

TONIGHT  – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, possible drizzle after midnight, humid, low around 70.

FATHER’S DAY – JUN 18 –  Mostly cloudy with a chance of drizzle in the morning then becoming partly sunny, humid, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and night, high in the upper 80s.

MONDAY – JUN 19 – Mostly cloudy and humid with showers and thunderstorms likely, rain may be heavy at times, humid, high in the upper 80s.

TUESDAY – JUN 20 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning then becoming partly sunny and less humid, high in the mid 80s.

WEDNESDAY – JUN 21 – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, high in the low 80s.

THURSDAY – JUN 22 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – JUN 23 – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – South-southeast wind to 8 knots, seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory will be in effect from 10 p.m. tonight until 6 a.m on Monday morning for high seas; small craft conditions expected to continue Monday and Monday night; no advisories expected Tuesday and Wednesday.
