Sunshine and warm and less humid today after early morning rain! Fantastic summer weather on Sunday!


SATURDAY  JUNE 24, 2017  5:52 A.M.

Skies are cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there is rain falling in most of the area, temperatures range from the low 70s in the Clifton area to the mid 60s further inland, winds are light.

A frontal system along with the remains of Tropical Storm Cindy will give us rain heavy at times this morning, most of the rain should end by around 8 a.m. followed by clearing skies, it will be quite warm but much less humid, winds will be gusty out of the west.

Sunday will be a fantastic summer day with plenty of sunshine, seasonably warm tempertures and low humidity.

Most of the upcoming week will feature dry weather with the only low chance of showers will be with a weak front on Tuesday.  Temperatures will be below normal with low humidity Monday through Wednesday, above normal temperature with an increase in humidity is expected by the end of the week.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – JUN 24 – Mostly cloudy with rain heavy at times till around 8 a.m then becoming mostly sunny and less humid by this afternoon, high near 90.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the mid 60s.

SUNDAY – JUN 25 – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

MONDAY – JUN 26 – Sunny, high near 80.

TUESDAY – JUN 27 – Mostly sunny with a chance of an afternoon and evening shower and thunderstorm, high in the upper 70s.

WEDNESDAY – JUN 28 – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

THURSDAY – JUN 29 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

FRIDAY – JUN 30 – Mostly sunny and more humid, high near 90.

 

MARINE FORECAST:   A small craft advisory is in effect till 6 p.m this evening for southwest wind switching to the northwest gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-7 feet.  Belmar ocean temperature 66 degrees.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Sunday through Wednesday.
