Quite warm and humid today with a chance of a thunderstorm! Warm with showers and thunderstorms likely on Saturday!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures are quite warm with readings ranging from the low 70s in the Clifton area down to the mid 60s further inland, winds are light and the humidity is moderate.

Today will be a quite warm and humid day, most of the day will be dry but there is a chance of an afternoon or evening shower.

More clouds on Saturday as a weak front approaches the area, it will still be quite humid and showers and thunderstorms are likely especially in the late afternoon into Saturday night, temperature will be slightly lower due to the cloud cover.

More sunshine on Sunday with hot temperatures, there still will be a low chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm.

Seasonably warm but with lower humidity and dry condtions Monday through Wednesday.  Showers are possible on Thursday as another front approaches the area.

SUNDAY – JUL 2 – Partly sunny and hot but becoming less humid, chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm, high in the low 90s.

MONDAY – JUL 3 – Mostly sunny, high near 90.

INDEPENDANCE DAY – JUL 4 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

WEDNESDAY – JUL 5 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – JUL 6 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers or thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory is in effect till 2 a.m Saturday morning for southerly winds to 30 knots, seas 3-6 feet.  Belmar’s ocean temperature is 67 degrees.

OUTLOOK – Possible small craft conditions during the day on Saturday; no advisories expected Sunday through Independance Day!
