We have dense fog in the area early on this Thursday morning. Temperatures range from the mid 60s in the Clifton area to around 60 further inland; humidity is high and the winds are calm. Yesterday in Clifton we received .62 inches of rain with much higher amounts to 2 inches only a couple of miles away from here. Also hail was observed in the West Caldwell and Fairfield area.
Today will be a warm and humid day and despite a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, the rain will not be as widespread as yesterday.
Another warm and humid day on Friday with again a low chance of showers and thunderstorms.
A cold front will cross the area on Saturday with a chance of showers followed by cooler and much less humid air for Sunday.
A low pressure system may give us more rain Monday afternoon into early Tuesday followed by fair weather on Wednesday.
