THURSDAY  AUGUST 31, 2017  5:40 A.M.

Our area has mostly clear skies early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the low 60s in the Clifton area down to the low 50s further inland, winds are light.

Today will be a warm day with temperatures reaching the low 80s, skies will be mostly sunny.  A cold front will cross the area this afternoon with only a slight chance of a shower.

Tomorrow will be quite cool even though we will have plenty of sunshine, humidity will also be very low.

Saturday will start off clear and quite cool but the remains of Harvey will likely give us rain from late Saturday into Sunday, temperatures and humidity will rise on Sunday.

Labor Day still looks to be the best day of the holiday weekend with dry and warm conditions.

Still quite warm on Tuesday but a cold front will give us a chance of showers late in the day on Tuesday.  Showers still possible on Wednesday with cooler temperatures.
