Very pleasant spring like weather today through Wednesday! Heavy rain with strong winds likely Thursday night through Friday night!


MONDAY  FEBRUARY 26, 2018   5:39  A.M.

Good morning!   Skies are mostly cloudy early this morning and we have mild temperatures ranging from the low 40s in Clifton down to the mid 30s further inland, winds are mainly calm.  There is some patchy fog in some areas.

After early morning high clouds it will become mostly sunny as high pressure builds into the area, temperatures will be mild with highs well up into the 50s.

Fair weather with mild temperatures will continue Tuesday and Wednesday as the high pressure moves into our area.

Low pressure is then expected to develop and move toward our area on Thursday, there will be a chance of rain in the afternoon with rain likely at night.

Friday we will have heavy rain with strong winds, rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches are possible.

Next weekend looks to be dry with seasonably cool temperatures, it will still be windy on Saturday but less wind on Sunday.

TONIGHT – Clear and cool, low in the low 30s.

TUESDAY – FEB 27 – Sunny, high in the upper 50s.

WEDNESDAY – FEB 28 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 50s.

THURSDAY – MAR 1 – Mostly cloudy with rain likely by the afternoon, high in the low 50s.

FRIDAY – MAR 2 – Rain likely with strong winds, high in the mid 40s.

SATURDAY – MAR 3 – Mostly cloudy and breezy, high in the upper 40s.

SUNDAY – MAR 4 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 40s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:   TODAY – West-northwest winds to 7 knots, seas 2-3 feet.

OUTLOOK – Small craft conditions developing by Thursday evening with gales possible from Thursday night through Friday.
