Cloudy and mild today after morning showers! Milder Thursday and Friday with a chance of showers! Dry and cooler Saturday and on Easter!


Good morning everyone!   Skies are cloudy early this morning and some light rain is falling over parts of the area and some freezing rain is being reported in far northwest New Jersey and the Poconos mainly above 1000 feet elevation.   Temperatures range form the upper 30s in Clifton down to the low 30s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Today will be a cloudy day with some morning light showers, temperatures will be milder with most highs in the 50s.

Mild on Thursday with a low chance of showers or sprinkles.  A better chance of showers Thursday night into Friday as a series of cold fronts cross the area.  Daytime highs on Friday may reach the 60s.

Dry weather with seasonable temperatures Saturday and again on Easter Sunday.

Cooler than normal weather with a slight chance of showers early next week.

TODAY – MAR 28 – Cloudy with some light rain this morning, high in the mid 50s.

TONIGHT – Cloudy, low in the low 40s.

THURSDAY – MAR 29 – Cloudy with a chance of sprinkles, high in the upper 50s.  Chance of showers at night.

FRIDAY – MAR 30 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the low 60s.

SATURDAY – MAR 31 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 50s.

EASTER SUNDAY – APR 1 – Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon, high in the mid 50s.

MONDAY – APR 2 – Partly sunny, high near 50.

TUESDAY – APR 3 – Partly sunny, high in the low 50s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory is in effect for hazardous seas effective until noon on Thursday.  Today – winds south-southeast 5-10 knots seas 5-8 feet.

OUTLOOK – Possible small craft conditions Thursday night into Friday for high seas; no advisories expected for Saturday; possible small craft conditions on Sunday.
