Skies are clear early this morning and temperatures range from the low 70s in the Clifton area down to some upper 50s further inland, winds are light or calm.

A strong high pressure ridge will provide our area with sunny skies today, temperatures will rise into the mid 90s however the humidity will not be too oppressive with dew points in the low to mid 60s.

Excessive heat and humidity on Sunday as high temperatures rise to close to 100 degrees and with dew points rising to the low 70s will cause heat indexes near 110 degrees.  An excessive heat watch is in effect.

The heat and humidity will be with us most of next week and for the most part it will stay dry except for a low chance of thunderstorms on Independence Day and again on Friday.

High pressure will build into the area giving us mostly sunny skies today and temperatures will rise into the lower 90s, the humidity will be moderate with dew points in the low to mid 60s.

Very hot weather with increasing humidity this weekend, high temperatures will reach the mid 90s on Saturday and near 100 on Sunday, skies will be mostly fair.

The heat and humidity will continue into next week and we should stay dry with the only chance of an afternoon thunderstorm will be on Independence Day.  Daytime highs will be a little lower than over the weekend but the humidity will be oppressive with dew points near 70.

Skies are cloudy early this morning and heavy rain with some thunderstorms are occurring in many parts of the area, temperatures are warm ranging from around 70 in the Clifton area down to the mid 60s further inland, winds are light southerly.

An area of showers and thunderstorms will be moving through the area this morning with some heavy rain.  Most of this activity will end by mid morning but there will be a low chance of some isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening as a weak cold front approaches the area.  Temperatures will warm into the 80s with rather high humidity.

Tomorrow will start our heatwave with skies becoming sunny, humidity will be slightly lower but highs will top off into the low 90s.

Very hot and humid over the weekend but we will remain dry, daytime highs will be well up into the 90s on Saturday and may be close to 100 on Sunday, heat indexes will rise to over 105 degrees.

Hot and humid weather will continue most of next week with some afternoon and evening showers possible Tuesday and on Independence Day.

A warm front approaching the area will cause an increase in clouds today with a chance of showers this afternoon, however most of the rain will hold off until tonight with thunderstorms possible.

The warm front will move to our north Thursday morning with most of the shower activity ending by late morning.  Look for an average of 1/2 to 1 inch of needed rainfall with higher amounts possible.  There is a low chance of showers Thursday afternoon as a weakening cold front crosses the area.

Hot and dry weather Friday through the weekend with high temperatures in the low to mid 90s each day, humidity will also increase.

Still very warm Monday and Tuesday with showers possible Monday night into Tuesday as a weak cold front approaches the area.

High pressure will be in control of our weather today giving our area mostly sunny skies with comfortable temperatures and humidity.

The high pressure will move off the coast on Wednesday causing increasing cloudiness with some showers at night, high temperatures with the clouds and an onshore wind will be mainly in the upper 70s.

A trough of low pressure will likely cause showers and thunderstorms on Thursday, some of the showers may be heavy at times.

A heatwave is still expected Friday through the weekend with highs in the 90s with increasing humidity however we should stay dry through this period.

A cold front crossed the area early this morning and we should see clearing skies as high pressure builds in from the Great Lakes, temperatures will be warm but with decreasing humidity.

Tonight will be cool especially inland where lows may drop to near 50 degrees.  Tuesday will be a mostly sunny day with temperatures a bit below normal.

Wednesday will be on the cool side but with increasing humidity and a chance of showers at night.

Showers are likely on Thursday as a low pressure trough moves through the area.

The main story Friday through the weekend will be the heat with high temperatures reaching the 90s each day with moderate to high humidity, however we should stay dry throughout the period.

Yesterday’s forecast was a bit of a bust as we only received .01 of an inch of rain that occurred just after midnight, the rest of the day and night stayed dry and cool.

Today will be warmer despite considerable cloudiness, most of the day will stay dry but there is a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms as a cold front approaches.

The cold front will cross the area overnight and high pressure will build into the are providing us with plenty of sunshine Monday and Tuesday along with low humidity and seasonably warm temperatures.

A little warmer on Wednesday but still a rather pleasant day with mostly sunny skies.

A warm front is expected to move through the area on Thursday with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, temperatures will warm to well up into the 80s.

Hot temperatures Friday through next weekend with plenty of sunshine each day and high temperatures rising to well up into the 90s.

Very nice weather Monday through Wednesday with seasonably warm temperatures, plenty of sunshine and low to moderate humidity.

A disturbance may touch off some showers on Thursday.

The low pressure that gave us the overnight rain will be moving off the coast and high pressure will build into our area, skies should become mostly sunny by noontime, temperatures will be seasonably warm.

We should see an increase in clouds on Friday but we should stay dry until late Friday night when showers are expected to develop.  With the clouds and an onshore wind temperatures will be cooler.

Cool and cloudy on Saturday as a warm front approaches the area, periods of showers will be with us most of the day and evening along with cool temperatures.

The front will move to our north early on Sunday, we should be dry and warm most of the day but a cold front approaching will give us a low chance of showers and thunderstorms later Sunday into early Monday morning.

Fair weather with near normal temperatures Monday through the middle of next week.
