Increasing clouds today with showers and thunderstorms tonight into Thursday! Dry and hot Friday through the weekend!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly clear early this morning and temperatures range from the low 60s in the Clifton area down to the mid 50s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

A warm front approaching the area will cause an increase in clouds today with a chance of showers this afternoon, however most of the rain will hold off until tonight with thunderstorms possible.

The warm front will move to our north Thursday morning with most of the shower activity ending by late morning.  Look for an average of 1/2 to 1 inch of needed rainfall with higher amounts possible.  There is a low chance of showers Thursday afternoon as a weakening cold front crosses the area.

Hot and dry weather Friday through the weekend with high temperatures in the low to mid 90s each day, humidity will also increase.

Still very warm Monday and Tuesday with showers possible Monday night into Tuesday as a weak cold front approaches the area.
