Considerable cloudiness today but we should remain dry! More humid with chances of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday through Saturday!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are partly cloudy early this morning and temperatures range from the upper 60s in the Clifton area down to the upper 50s in some inland spots, winds are mostly calm and the humidity is moderate.

A warm front approaching from the south will move into our area late tonight.  We should see considerable amounts of clouds but we should stay dry through this evening, high temperatures will be in the low 80s and the humidity will be slowly increasing.

The warm front will move north of our area by Wednesday morning associated with showers and thunderstorms.  The humidity will rise as dew points reach the oppressive low 70s.

Chance of showers and thunderstorms continue Thursday and Friday as a strong high pressure offshore along with a front to our west will give us moist tropical air, it will not be a washout but the best chances of rain will be in the afternoon both days.

Some lingering showers possible on Saturday but at this point Sunday looks to be dry but continued quite warm and humid.

Looking ahead it appears that next week will be hot and humid but with less of a chance of showers.
