Quite warm and humid again today with scattered showers and thunderstorms! Heavy rain likely late tonight into Saturday!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly cloudy early this morning and once again it is quite muggy.  Temperatures range from the mid 70s in the Clifton area down to around 70 further inland, dew points are in the oppressive 70s and the winds are mainly calm.

Today we will have quite warm and humid conditions once again with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, temperatures will once again rise into the 80s and the dew point will continue to be in the 70s.  Strong high pressure offshore and a weak front to our west continues to pump tropical air into the area.

A small low pressure will move through the area late tonight into Saturday morning that will likely produce heavy showers and thunderstorms from late tonight into Saturday morning.  There still will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm Saturday afternoon.  Temperatures will be warm and the humidity will remain high.

Dry weather with more sunshine and hot temperatures Sunday and Monday as winds become more westerly around the Atlantic high pressure.  Humidity levels will be slightly lower.

A slow moving cold front may give us some showers and thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday followed by possibly less humid air for the end of next week.
