Finally some dry weather today and tomorrow but it will be hot! Showers and thunderstorms return for Friday!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are partly cloudy early this morning and temperatures range from the upper 60s in the Clifton area down to the low 60s further inland, winds are mainly calm and the humidity continues to be high.

The upper air low pressure that has given us rain the last few days has moved offshore and high pressure will build into our area providing us with plenty of sunshine with hot temperatures today and on Thursday as high temperatures reach the low 90s both days.  The humidity will be moderately high with dew points in the upper 60s.   A heat advisory is in effect as heat indexes should rise above 95 degrees.

Another frontal system will approach on Friday which will likely give us shower and thunderstorm activity, the rain may be heavy at times.  It will still be very warm and become more humid as dew points rise to the low 70s.

The weekend looks a little unsettled as showers are still possible but most of time it will be dry with lower temperatures and humidity.

Dry weather with seasonably warm temperatures on Monday but another frontal system may give us more showers on Tuesday.
