Partly sunny and pleasantly cool today! MIlder on Monday with showers likely!


Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are chilly ranging from the low 40s in Clifton down to the mid 30s well inland where there is scattered frost, winds are mainly calm.    The 43 degree reading in Clifton this morning is the coolest temperatures since April 30th.

High pressure moving through the area will give us a pleasantly cool day, skies will be mostly sunny this morning but we should see some increase in clouds by late in the day, high temperatures will be a couple of degrees higher than yesterday.

A frontal system will likely give us some showers on Monday mainly after 8 a.m., temperatures will be milder.

Mainly dry weather Tuesday through Friday with cool temperatures with Thursday being the chillest day of the week with highs only around 50.

Milder with some showers possible next weekend.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower after 5 a.m., low around 50.

MONDAY – OCT 15 – Cloudy with showers likely, high in the upper 60s, chance of showers at night.

TUESDAY – OCT 16 – Mostly sunny, high near 60.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 17 – Mostly sunny, high near 60.

THURSDAY – OCT 18 – Sunny and chilly, high only around 50.

FRIDAY – OCT 19 – Sunny, high near 60.

SATURDAY – OCT 20 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the low 60s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Southwest wind to 7 knots, seas 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory has been posted effective from 8 a.m. Monday morning until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning; small craft conditions likely continuing during the day on Tuesday; no advisories expected Tuesday night;  small craft advisories and possible gales Wednesday and Wednesday night;  no advisories expected on Thursday.
