Very mild today with scattered showers! Dry and cooler weather for the weekend!


Good morning!

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures are rather mild with readings ranging from the upper 40s in Clifton down to the upper 30s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Today will be a very mild day as a warm front moves to our north, temperatures will rise well up into the 60s. There is a chance of scattered light showers as a cold front approaches from the west but most of the time it will be dry.

Dry weather for the weekend, temperatures will be near seasonable levels on Saturday but it will be breezy. Cooler on Sunday but with less wind.

Generally dry weather for next week, temperatures will be below normal Monday through Wednesday and rise to near normal values on Thursday. Normal high temperature for mid March is around 50 degrees.

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – MAR 15 – Mostly cloudy and unseasonably mild with a chance of showers, high in the upper 60s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy in the evening then partly cloudy after midnight, low in the low 40s.

SATURDAY – MAR 16 – Mostly sunny and breezy, high near 50.

SUNDAY – MAR 17 – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.

MONDAY – MAR 18 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 40s.

TUESDAY – MAR 19 – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 20 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

THURSDAY – MAR 21 – Partly sunny, high in the low 50s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 5 a.m. Sunday morning for westerly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-7 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Sunday through Tuesday.
