Mostly sunny and hot again today! Possible strong to severe thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon and evening! Cooler, breezy and less humid on Sunday!


Good morning!

Skies across the area are mostly clear and temperatures range from the upper 60s in Clifton down to the mid 50s further inland, winds are mainly calm and the humidity is moderate.

High pressure over our area will give us another hot day today along with plenty of sunshine, the humidity will still not be oppressive with dew points mainly near 60.

Hot again on Saturday with increasing humidity, a cold front approaching the area will possibly touch off some strong to severe thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

Cooler, breezy and much less humid on Sunday with high temperatures in the 80s which is near normal.

Seasonably warm with sunshine on Monday.

Temperatures will rise again to above normal levels Tuesday through the rest of next week with little or no rain expected.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low in the low 70s.

SATURDAY – JUNE 29 – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, some storms may be accompanied by strong gusty winds, high in the low 90s.

SUNDAY – JUNE 30 – Mostly sunny, breezy and less humid, high in the mid 80s.

MONDAY – JULY 1 – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

TUESDAY – JULY 2 – Mostly sunny, high near 90.

WEDNESDAY – JULY 3 – Sunny, high near 90.

INDEPENDENCE DAY – JULY 4 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Light and variable winds, seas 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Saturday through Tuesday.
