Skies across the area are mostly cloudy and it is still rather warm and muggy with temperatures ranging from the low 70s in Clifton down to the upper 60s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

A cold front will pass through this morning with only a slight chance of a shower. The front will be followed by cooler air and gradually become less humid along with clearing skies.

Dry weather Monday through Wednesday as high pressure will be in control, temperatures will be near normal on Monday, then be above normal for Tuesday and Wednesday, humidity will be moderate.

A frontal system will give us a chance of showers from late Thursday into Friday.

Looking ahead, next weekend looks to be dry and hot.

FRIDAY – JULY 12 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.

SATURDAY – JULY 13 – Sunny, high near 90.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Northeast winds to 14 knots, seas 1-2 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Monday through Wednesday with possible small craft conditions for Thursday.
