Skies have become overcast and there are showers in most parts of the area on this Monday morning, temperatures range from around 70 in Clifton down to the low 60s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

A weak disturbance will cause showers this morning ending by 10 a.m., then high pressure will build into the area and we should see some sunshine this afternoon, temperatures will be a little below normal and the humidity will be moderate.

High pressure will continue to dominate our weather Tuesday and Wednesday giving us plenty of sunshine both days and it will become quite warm but the humidity will be low.

A cold front will give us a good chance of showers and thunderstorms late Thursday into Friday, temperatures will be warm and the humidity will be higher.

At this point the weekend still looks to be hot and rainfree with moderate humidity.

TODAY – JULY 8 – Mostly cloudy this morning with showers ending by 10 a.m., becoming partly sunny this afternoon, high near 80.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the mid 60s.

TUESDAY – JULY 9 – Sunny, high near 90.

WEDNESDAY – JULY 10 – Sunny, high near 90.

THURSDAY – JULY 11 – Mostly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and night, high in the upper 80s.

FRIDAY – JULY 12 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.

SATURDAY – JULY 13 – Sunny, high near 90.

SUNDAY – JULY 14 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 90s.
