Very pleasant late summer weather for this weekend with plenty of sunshine, seasonably warm temperatures and comfortable humidity!

Skies across the area are partly cloudy and temperatures are cool with readings ranging from the mid 50s in Clifton down to the upper 40s further inland winds are light northerly.

Hurricane Dorian is moving northeast away from our area today as high pressure builds into our area, this will provide plenty of sunshine both today and on Sunday with seasonably warm temperatures and comfortable humidity with dew points in the 50s.

A weak cold front will cross the area Sunday evening but will come through dry. Monday and Tuesday will again have plenty of sunshine both days with slightly cooler temperatures.

Warmer and more humid Wednesday and Thursday along with a chance of showers as a warm front on Wednesday will be followed by a cold front on Thursday.

High pressure will then build in for Friday giving us another mostly sunny day with seasonably cool temperatures.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the low 60s.

SUNDAY – SEP 8 – Sunny, high near 80.

MONDAY – SEP 9 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 70s.

TUESDAY – SEP 10 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

WEDNESDAY – SEP 11 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – SEP 12 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – SEP 13 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. this evening for northerly winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 6-11 feet.

OUTLOOK: No advisories expected Sunday through Wednesday.

TROPICS: Hurricane Dorian is now located 140 miles southeast of Nantucket and is moving toward Nova Scotia, top winds are 85 MPH.
