Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday the 13th and temperatures are much cooler than this time yesterday with readings ranging from the upper 50s in Clifton down to around 50 further inland, winds are light northeasterly.

Strong high pressure over eastern Canada will give us an onshore flow of cool air today along with mostly sunny skies.

We should see an increase in clouds tonight and tomorrow as a warm front will cross the area during the day, temperatures will be a little milder and the humidity will increase. A cold front then will cross the area at night accompanied by some showers and thunderstorms.

Dry weather will be with us Sunday through most of next week, temperatures will be a little above normal Sunday and Monday but be slightly below normal Tuesday through Thursday.

TONIGHT – Increasing cloudiness, low around 60.

SATURDAY – SEP 14 – Mostly cloudy and becoming more humid, high in the upper 70s, chance of showers and thunderstorms at night.

MONDAY – SEP 16 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s

TUESDAY – SEP 17 – Sunny, high in the mid 70s.

WEDNESDAY – SEP 18 – Sunny, high in the mid 70s.

THURSDAY – SEP 19 – Sunny, high in the upper 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. this evening for northeast winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 5-8 feet.

OUTLOOK: Advisories expected for high seas Friday night through the day on Saturday; no advisories expected Saturday night through Tuesday.
