Good morning!

Skies remain cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from the mid 50s in Clifton down to around 50 further inland where there is some patchy fog.

Low pressure will be moving off the New England coast as high pressure builds from the Great Lakes. Sunshine will return after early morning cloudiness and it will become breezy, high temperatures will be near normal.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and it will be cool, early morning temperatures will fall into the 30s over much of the area and there may be some patchy frost well inland.

A southerly flow will bring milder temperatures into the area on Sunday, we should see an increase in clouds but we should remain dry.

Quite mild on Monday ahead of a slow moving cold front, we will likely have rain Monday afternoon through early Tuesday morning, some of the rain may be heavy at times.

Dry weather is expected Tuesday through Thursday with near seasonable temperatures as high pressure builds into our area.

TONIGHT – Clear and chilly, low around 40.

SATURDAY – OCT 5 – Sunny, high near 60.

SUNDAY – OCT 6 – Mostly cloudy, high in the low 70s.

MONDAY – OCT 7 – Mostly cloudy with rain likely mainly after 2 p.m., rain may be heavy at times, high in the mid 70s.

TUESDAY – OCT 8 – Chance of rain before 8 a.m. then becoming mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 9 – Sunny, high in the upper 60s.

THURSDAY – OCT 10 – Sunny, high in the upper 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon. TODAY – Northwest winds to 30 knots, seas 4-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected later Saturday afternoon through Saturday night; possible advisories Sunday through Tuesday.
