Cloudy, breezy and cool with periods of light rain today through Friday! Sunshine returns for the weekend with milder temperatures!


Good morning!

Skies are cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from the mid 50s in Clifton down to the mid 40s further inland, winds are from the north-northeast.

A storm off the coast will remain nearly stationary today through Friday producing a strong northeast flow of cool air, wind gusts to 35 mph are possible. Along with the wind there will be chances of mainly light rain through the period. Stronger winds and heavier rain is likely across coastal areas along with possible coastal flooding.

Sunshine with milder temperatures is expected over the weekend, there is a chance of a shower on Saturday as a weak cold front crosses the area.

Mainly dry with seasonable temperatures early next week.

SATURDAY – OCT 12 – Partly sunny with a chance of a shower, high in the upper 60s.

SUNDAY – OCT 13 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

MONDAY – OCT 14 – Sunny, high near 70.

TUESDAY – OCT 15 – Mostly sunny, high near 70.

MARINE FORECAST: A gale warning is in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday morning for northerly winds gust to 40 knots, seas building to 7-15 feet.

OUTLOOK – Advisories still possible for high seas Saturday and Sunday.
