Skies across the area are mostly clear early on this Christmas morning and temperatures range from around 30 in Clifton down to the middle teens further inland, winds are mainly calm.

High pressure building in from eastern Canada will give us a sunny Christmas Day with seasonably mild temperatures along with light winds.

Thursday will be slightly cooler than today as a weak disturbance will cause skies to become cloudy in the afternoon and at night but no precipitation is expected.

Mainly dry with mild temperatures Friday and Saturday.

A stronger low pressure area will be moving into the area on Sunday with rain likely Sunday afternoon and night into Monday, temperatures will continue to be mild.

Dry with cooler temperatures for New Year’s Eve!
