Rain, breezy and chilly today! Showers lingering and cool on Monday! Partly sunny and milder on Tuesday! More rain likely Wednesday afternoon through Thursday!

Skies are cloudy early on this Sunday morning and there are some pockets of light rain in parts of the area. Temperatures range from the upper 40s in Clifton down to the low 40s further inland, winds are light northeasterly.

After a pleasantly mild day yesterday a storm system will move into our area from the west. Rain will develop this morning and continue through the afternoon. The heaviest rain will likely occur from mid morning into the middle part of this afternoon. Temperatures will be well below normal and with brisk northeast winds it will feel even cooler. The rain will taper off to drizzle of light rain tonight. Rainfall amounts of .50 to .75 of an inch expected.

Monday will be a cloudy and cool day with lingering showers.

Tuesday will be partly sunny and milder.

Another storm system will likely give us more rain possibly heavy Wednesday afternoon through Thursday before tapering off to showers on Friday, temperatures will be slightly below normal.

At this point next weekend looks to be dry and milder.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with periods of rain or drizzle, low in the low 40s.

MONDAY – APR 27 – Cloudy with showers likely, high near 50.

TUESDAY – APR 28 – Partly sunny, high in the low 60s

WEDNESDAY – APR 29 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the afternoon, high in the upper 50s, showers likely at night.

THURSDAY – APR 30 – Cloudy with rain, high near 60.

FRIDAY – MAY 1 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the low 60s.

SATURDAY – MAY 2 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Monday evening. Today – Northeast winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-7 feet.

OUTLOOK – Advisories expected to continue Monday night; no advisories expected for Tuesday; advisories expected Wednesday and Thursday.
