Skies across the area are partly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures range from the upper 30s in Clifton down to the upper 20s further inland, winds are light northwesterly.

High pressure will give us a nice spring day today with seasonably mild temperatures and plenty of sunshine.

The nice weather will be short lived as another storm system approaches our area on Wednesday. The day will be cloudy and cooler with a chance of light rain in the afternoon.

Showers are likely Wednesday night through at least Friday morning as the storm system slowly moves through the area. Rain may be heavy at times during this period with 1-2 inches of rainfall expected with some higher amounts possible as a strong fetch of tropical moisture moves into the area.

At this point the weekend looks to be dry with mild temperatures.
