Sunny and pleasantly mild today! Cooler with rain Friday afternoon possibly mixing of changing to snow at higher elevations further inland at night! Windy and unseasonably chilly Saturday with some lingering showers!


Good morning!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the mid 40s in Clifton down to the upper 30s further inland, winds are light from the northwest.

The low pressure area that gave us the light rain yesterday and has moved offshore while weak high pressure builds over the area which will provide our area with plenty of sunshine with pleasantly mild temperatures. A cold front will cross the area with only some clouds late tonight.

An area of low pressure will move along a front to our south on Friday which will cause clouds skies and cool temperatures and rain will develop by the afternoon and continue into the evening. Inland across the higher elevations the rain will mix or change to snow before ending early Saturday morning where even a rare May accumulation may occur. Rainfall amounts will average around 1/2″

Saturday will be a windy and unseasonably chilly day with a chance of some lingering showers. Some wind gusts to 40 mph possible.

Sunday will have less wind along with mostly sunny skies and slightly milder temperatures.

Monday will be cool with a chance of showers.

Dry with still below normal temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday.

A pattern change still looks likely toward the end of next week with warmer temperatures.

MONDAY – MAY 11 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the upper 50s.

TUESDAY – MAY 12 – Mostly sunny, high near 60.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 13 – Sunny, high in the low 60s.
