Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures are mild ranging from the low 60s in Clifton down to the upper 50s further inland, the humidity is high and the winds are mainly calm.

Today will be a quieter day of weather as yesterday we had some shower and thunderstorm activity here while parts of southern New Jersey had damaging winds with power outages. Temperatures today will be quite warm with some parts of our area possibly reaching 90 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

A weak warm front just to our south will move into our area tonight with a chance of showers.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely on Friday along with warm temperatures and high humidity, most of these storms will be in the afternoon and at night. A cold front will cross the area at night.

Dry weather is expected for the weekend, Saturday will be warm and become less humid by the afternoon. Sunday will be a little cooler with much less humidity.

Mainly dry weather with seasonably warm temperatures Monday through Wednesday.
