Partly sunny, quite warm and humid with again a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms! Warm most of next week with showers possible Tuesday through Friday!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and it is warm and muggy with temperatures ranging from the low 70s in Clifton down to the low 60s further inland, winds are mainly calm or light southwesterly.

We ended our 16 days without any precipitation yesterday, but only .04″ was recorded in some brief showers. Today we will try again to get some much needed rain, showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening, some of the storms may be accompanied by gusty winds and small hail. Temperatures will be quite warm and the humidity will remain high.

A weak high pressure will give us another warm day on Monday but it is expected to remain dry.

An upper level low pressure will give our area unsettled weather Tuesday through Friday with a chance of afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms each day.

A back door cold front is expected to cross the area Friday night and high pressure will build into our area for the weekend which will provide our area with mostly sunny skies with near normal temperatures each day.

TUESDAY – JUNE 30 – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

WEDNESDAY – JULY 1 – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, high in the low 80s.

THURSDAY – JULY 2 – Mostly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.

FRIDAY – JULY 3 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.
