High pressure building over the area will give us mostly sunny skies today after some early morning cloudiness, temperatures will be hot with most highs in the low 90s. The humidity will be moderate with dew points in the 60s.

Very warm to hot weather will continue for much of this week and there will be a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms each day.

There is a chance a coastal low pressure with possible tropical characteristics may cause heavier rain late Friday into Saturday but the models at this time disagrees with the track of this low, with the GFS moving the low into our area while the European computer model has the low well offshore with little of no impact to our area.
