Skies are mostly clear early on this first day of August and temperatures are seasonably mild with readings ranging from the upper 60s in Clifton down to the upper 50s further inland, winds are mainly calm and the humidity is moderate.

Today will be a pleasantly warm summer day with mostly sunny skies this morning with some increasing cloudiness late in the day. Temperatures will be slightly above normal and the humidity will be moderate.

Warm and more humid on Sunday as a warm front pushes north of our area. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms some of which may be strong.

Warm and humid on Monday with again a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

At the present time Hurricane Isaias now by the Bahamas is expected to brush the east coast of Florida and move up the east coast and be in our area on Tuesday. Rain may be heavy at times with some flash flooding possible. Winds should only reach tropical storm levels mainly across our coastal sections.

Still warm and humid as Isaias moves well to our north and east on Wednesday with still a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Mainly dry weather Thursday and Friday with seasonably warm temperatures and lower humidity level.s

MONDAY – AUG 3 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, humid, high in the upper 80s.

TUESDAY – AUG 4 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, rain may be heavy at times, high in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – AUG 5 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.

THURSDAY – AUG 6 – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – AUG 7 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.
