Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures and humidity are lower than the last few mornings with temperatures ranging from the mid 60s in Clifton down to the low 50s further inland, winds are mainly light from the northwest.

Today will be the nicest day of the week with plenty of sunshine along with comfortable temperatures and humidity as high pressure builds into our area.

Much warmer and more humid on Thursday as a warm front moves to our north in the morning. There is a good chance of some strong to severe thunderstorms in the afternoon that may produce large hail and damaging winds.

Quite warm and humid again on Friday with a lower chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

Some heavy rain is possible on Saturday as a cold front approaches the area along with remains of Hurricane Laura.

There will be a chance of early showers on Sunday followed by clearing and becoming cooler and less humid by the afternoon as high pressure builds into the area.

Pleasant and dry weather early next week is expected.
