Sunny and chilly today but with light winds! Milder on Sunday with showers in the afternoon and evening! Colder and windy on Monday with a chance of flurries!

Skies are clear early on this Halloween morning and temperatures are the coldest since March 16th as the temperature has fallen to 30 in Clifton down to 22 degrees at Walpack. Winds are calm or light northerly.

After a few days of clouds and rain today we feature mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will be chilly with highs only in the 40s, however winds will be light as high pressure will be over our area. Don’t forget to set the clocks back an hour tonight.

Sunday will be milder but a strong cold front approaching will cause showers in the afternoon and evening.

Much colder again and quite windy on Monday with highs only in the 40s. Winds possibly gusting to 40 mph will make it feel even colder. Also there may be some snow flurries in the morning.

The rest of next week should be dry, high temperatures will be below normal on Tuesday, near normal on Wednesday and then above normal the rest of the week into next weekend.

MONDAY – NOV 2 – Mostly sunny and windy, a slight chance of flurries in the morning, high in the mid 40s. Wind gusts to 40 mph possible.

ELECTION DAY – NOV 3 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 4 – Sunny, high in the upper 50s.

THURSDAY – NOV 5 – Sunny, high in the mid 60s.

FRIDAY – NOV 6 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect for high seas until 6 p.m. this evening, winds northeast to 15 knots, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – A gale watch has been issued effective between 6 p.m. Sunday evening until 6 p.m. Monday evening; advisories for high seas on Tuesday; no advisories expected for Wednesday.
