Skies across the area are mostly clear and temperatures are the lowest of the season so far with readings ranging from 17 in Clifton down to -2 degrees at Walpack, winds are from the north around 10 mph.

Strong high pressure will be over our area today and then move offshore by tonight. We should have mostly sunny skies in the morning but we should see some increasing high clouds this afternoon. Temperatures will be similar than the last couple of days but with much less wind.

A weak disturbance will give us a chance of some light snow showers Sunday afternoon.

High pressure will dominate our weather Monday through Wednesday with dry conditions and near seasonable temperatres.

A rather strong cold front approach our area on Christmas Even giving us mild and windy conditions with a good chance of showers followed by much colder air on Christmas Day along with a chance of snow showers.
