Skies are cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are around 10 degrees milder than yesterday at this time with readings ranging from the upper 20s in Clifton down to the upper teens further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Today will be a cloudy day and a weak disturbance is expected to give us a chance of snow showers mainly around noon till early afternoon. It will be a little milder today with highs in the upper 30s. A dusting of snow is possible mainly across the higher elevations to our north and west.

Monday will a partly sunny day with near seasonable temperatures. Another weak disturbance may give us a chance again of snow showers mainly after midnight. Winter begins at 5:02 a.m. Monday morning.

Tuesday and Wednesday look to be dry with seasonable temperatures continuing.

A strong cold front will cross the area sometime on Christmas Day, ahead of the front a strong southerly flow of mild air will develop and heavy rain is possible during Christmas Eve night.

After the front passes much colder air will move into the area sometime on Christmas Day with rain possible changing to snow before ending.

Mainly dry and cold weather for next weekend.
